Job Description
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications, International:
- 10-12 years of strong experience on Application PROD support for application build on Informatica, Oracle .
- Strong UNIX and DB like ORACLE
- Strong in any of Scheduling tools like AUTOSYS or CRON or anything similar.
- Extensive knowledge in ITIL process.
- Knowledge in ETL/DWH concepts
- Knowledge in Cloud Data concepts
- Experience in scripting language like Shell/ Python.
- Attitude to learn new technologies.
- Good troubleshooting skills with overall knowledge on Wealth Investment management /Reference data domain.
- Willing to work in shifts - IST hours
- Provides support in the configuring and troubleshooting solutions and developing hands on solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as team player
Desired Qualifications:

- Domain Knowledge on Wealth Investment management /Reference data domain.
- Basic knowledge on Python/ Big Data
- Good to have knowledge on monitoring tools like ITRS, App Dynamics, etc.,
- Ability to handle issues call and engage required teams and drive for result/fix.
Job Expectations:

Use of this job is restricted to Wells Fargo Technology. Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure. Installs, configures, tests and maintains operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensures the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Maintains security back-up, and redundancy strategies. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Participates in the design of information and operational support systems. Provides 2nd and 3rd level support for Systems and liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area. May assign tasks and/or project resources. Monitors work progress and adherence to technical process controls/standards.
