Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor degree of agriculture/Agribusiness Management/ Rural Marketing/ PGDRM or equivalent with a 3 Year work experiences.
About US: Shakti Agritech Farming and Livelihood (SAFAL), a development organisation working since 1980 for promotion of sustainable livelihoods. It's headquartered at Bhopal Madhya Pradesh) and works with more than 60,000 rural holds in 2 states 75 districts and 715 villages.
SAFAL was promoted by development professionals with a sole aim to work on Natural Resource Management and enhance farm based income.
SAFA worked with SFAC for promotion and nurturing of 50 FPOs in 50 blocks of two states namely :MP and UP. We are Cluster based business organization (CBBOs) for promotion and development of FPOs, under the central sector scheme of 10000 FPOs promotion. Formation of producer groups and hence federating them in a producer company has been introduced as a key strategy for collective marketing of the produce. Under the project Farmer Producer Companies (FPC) have been constituted at Block/ District level with an aim to promote collective inputs procurement to benefit producers associated.
Current position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on the payroll of FPC formed under the SFAC Project-
Job Description/ Responsibilities:- Explore and pursue opportunity to support and expend operation of the producer company.
The CEO will report to the board of directors and must assists the board to formulation of goals, strategies, business plan etc.
Ensure timely availability of raw material and generating the business from various marketing platform so as to ensure the sales of products of Producer Company.
Develop Business plan mobilising recourses for the producer company and implement the same.
Ensure& increase the top line (Business turnover) and bottom line (Net Profit) of the company.
Have a working relationship of donors and other business community like processors, packagers and retailers, corporate houses, traders, inputs supplier, govt. officials, etc.in the interest of the producer company and to conduct any such function which shell help in business expansion and development of the producer company.
Initiative to be taken to build up share capital of the producer company by mobilising more farmers to join the producer company.
Increase the business lines toward achieving sustainable growth of organisation.
Maintaining proper books of records, Prepare annual reports and audit compliances and presenting audited reports in annual general meeting of the company.
Inter-generation with technology and exploring alternatives for value addition of primary and secondary products.
Business development and ensure profitability for the producers.
Perform administrative acts of a routine nature including managing the day to day affairs of the producer company.
Sign and execute of MOU'S for business related activities as may be authorised by the board forand on behalf of the producer company.
The CEO must be able to read, write and speak in Hindi & English
The candidate must have basic computer knowledge and must be able to respond to Emails, have basic internet knowledge and be adept at MS Office (Knowledge of TALLY software is and advantage)
The candidate must be able to multi-tasking and lead a team in a dynamic environment.
The candidate must be passionate, energetic, and have a strong willingness to work for the community.
