About US: Shakti Agritech Research and Development (SAFAL), a development organisation working since 1980 for promotion of sustainable livelihoods. It's headquartered at Bhopal Madhya Pradesh) and works with more than 60,000 rural holds in 3 states covering 75 districts and 715 villages.
SAFAL was promoted by development professionals with a sole aim to work on Natural Resource Management and enhance farm-based income.
SAFAL went through rigorous selection process of SFAC and was successful in earning trust of SFAC for promotion of FPOs. SFAC allocated work for promotion and nurturing of FPOs in different blocks of Madhya Pradesh.We are Cluster based business organization (CBBOs) for promotion and development of FPOs, under the central sector scheme of 1000 FPOs promotion. Formation of producer groups and hence federating them in a producer company has been introduced as a key strategy for collective marketing of the produce. Under the project Farmer Producer Companies (FPC) have been constituted at Block/ District level with an aim to promote collective inputs procurement to benefit producers associated.
Job Description/ Responsibilities: - Prepare a Detail Project Reports (DPR).
Develop the business Plan.
Lead and support efforts to monitor and track new business opportunities
Develop Project Proposal of NABARD, CSR and other govt. agencies.
New Business Development efforts are expected to focus heavily on supporting pursuit of new contracts/subcontracts.
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established goals/objectives.
Work with other State managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
Generate leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, Develop and implement overarching outbound business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, partnerships and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
Conduct Webinar on fortnightly basis.
Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate.
