Software Engineer Backend Development - ROR @ Emizo Solutions

Job Description

1. 2+ years of experience writing backend code (preferably using ROR) for high-quality products

2. Proficiency in ROR/NodeJS/Ruby and PostgreSQL/Redis

3. The ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code

4. Hands-on experience in all aspects of software development -analysis, coding, and deployment

5. Solid database skills in a relational database such as PostgreSQL

6. Experience with key-value stores like Redis or DynamoDB

7. Exposure to distributed and microservices-based architecture systems in a cloud environment

8. Exposure to one or more of NodeJS, Java, Ruby, ROR, Python, AWS, and RESTful APIs

9. Continuous delivery experienceLove for problem-solving, writing code, and advocating for technical excellence while being open to change when needed

10. Good communication skills, both verbal and written

11. The ability to take responsibility for projects and work independently while still knowing when to ask for help from others
