DESIRED QUALIFICATION: B.Tech./ B.E. JOB LOCATION: Delhi I. Introduction VP Engineering, with experience of managing agile development teams, will be responsible for creating the end-to-end technology roadmap of a fast-growing startup. Candidate will be hiring, grooming, motivating, and leading a dynamic team to support scaling up of the tech stack for the Company and will be responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements, and deliver a delightful experience for users. II. Responsibilities Defining technology roadmap and envisioning the tech stack required to scale the business with a long-term technology vision Building and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders for creating, managing, and delivering various releases of the platform instituting best engineering practices Working closely with Founders and Management Team to lead engineering planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, timetables, implementation, and deployment of product Researching & suggesting new technology/ applications/ protocols/ technology trends, participating in POCs and leading evaluation of different technologies & platforms Contributing to cross-organizational goals with other technology leaders/managers Managing end-to-end detailed development plans for self and team and identifying budget, resource requirements, and costing. Once identified, leading Company efforts to hire the best possible talent Owning the development methodology. Aligning with the executive team to improve the development process, prioritize projects and manage multiple work streams Leading the platform release deployments by executing well documented and approved plans Reviewing business requirements, and reviewing the PRDs/ functional requirements for the platform and releases while being responsible for backend, infrastructure, architecture, scalability & server-side engineering Defining engineering processes and working towards continuous improvement across planning, architecting, designing, coding, review, and testing 2 Recruiting, growing, mentoring, and retaining a team of Software Developers, Server Engineers and QA Engineers and helping them in their goal setting and career growth Managing outsourced engineering workforce and contractors to get the best out of them in a cost-effective way III. Profile Requisites B. Tech./ B.E or equivalent degree from Tier 1 institute is a must Experience of 12+ years Strong prior experience as Full Stack Developer and Lead which includes frontend & backend with successful implementations in agile environment Experience building end to end applications from scratch which have grown to million(s) downloads/ transactions per month Experience in technologies such as Flutter, Angular, React.js, Node.js is a must Experience in one of more IDEs viz. XCode, Angular CLI, Ionic, Android Studio, Flutter SDK is a must Experience in CSS, SCSS, C, HTML5, Flutter, Dart, Java, Typescript, ReactNative is a must Experience in MongoDB is a must. In addition to this experience in other DBs viz. MariaDB, MySQL, Postgre SQL and others is preferred Experienced in CI/CD and working with agile methodology is a must Experience in 2 or more medium/ large implementation with Serverless Architecture, Lambda, Cloudfront and API Gateway is a must Experience in AWS EC2, Containers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Elastic Load Balancing, S3, CDN, EFS, Storage Gateway, Tensor-flow, DynamoDB, Security Hub and SNS is a must Experience in other clouds viz. Azure and GCP is an added advantage. Should have good knowledge of the services of these clouds Experience in 3rd party integrations like payment gateway, google analytics, firebase, dashbird, new-relic, atlas, onesignal etc is a must Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, ALM Management, JUnit/NUnit, JMeter, Selenium etc or similar ones is a must Good communication skills, strong collaborator, and the ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced, high-productivity startup environment are a must Strong hold on tech, architecture, design pattern to lead long term scalable, stable, and flexible tech solutions for long term business, marketing and product initiatives is a must Extensive software engineering development and design experience with complex and highly scalable products using multiple technologies and languages Building key tools to support contextual communication. Proven leadership record with excellent critical thinking skills is a must Past experience in fantasy gaming and/or stock trading platforms is an added advantageEmployement Category:
