Engineering Solution - AMS Lead
India, Pune |
AMS Lead for PLM, CAD (multi disciplines, mainly mechanical, electrical and fluidics), and CAM, the candidate is accountable for the efficiency and the quality of the deliverables of the support team (internal as well as external resources), the communication and coordination of the activities with stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage the support activities with a team of internals and partners.
Understand customers business and make sure the support is customer service focused.
Ensure and measure user satisfaction.
Ensure timely delivery and excellent quality of the deliverables.
Create and implement best-practices, standards, documentation within the team. Maximize and systematize the use of the knowledge base.
Ensures wider support coverage by spreading the knowledge in the teams.
Ensure the smooth communication and collaboration with other support entities teams and partners).
Lead continuous improvement workshops in collaboration with partners.
Accountable for the incident management, problem management, and quality management processes efficiency.
Work with vendors and third-party consultants to ensure their deliverables meet quality, standards and values.
Recommend the most adequate technologies to support business (i.e. collaboration tools) needs
Support the homogenization / rollout strategy for the related technology across the Group
Manage the transition to of related solutions to support team members
Act as catalyst to implement strategic and tactical change for the business
Work with end-user groups closely to assist with aligning IT technology with the departments business goals
Education and Experience
Engineering or computer science Master Degree with at least 10+ years of experience in a similar position.
ITIL certification is an asset.
Project Management experience is an asset
Critical Skills and Personal Attributes
Knowledge and experience of the product development processes is a must-have.
