Job Description
- Study the BOQ in detail before starting any activity.
- Prepare and monitor the checklist for every activity executed at project site.
- Study the Tender and Contract Documents with all the terms and conditions.
- Arrangement of manpower for projects and ensure optimal and effective use of the resources without any wastage at site.
- Maintaining detailed record of construction site activities (DPR).
- Preparing and monitoring the bar chart and schedule for every activity for the project and set milestones.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly and overall project progress reports and site Hindrances Records and Snag List (pending work).
- To coordinate with project managers, engineers, client, consultant, subcontractors for timely completion and handing over of the project.
- Submissions ofclient RA/Final Bill:
- Responsible for extensive study of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) as perspecifications and taking out Quantities fromdrawings.
- Preparing RA Bills for the Projects and taking approvals from the Client.
- Provide billing related information/documents to client whenever required.
- Checkingofallbills/subcontractor bills.
- Identify and prepare list of extraitems.
- Preparemonthly reconciliation statement ofbuilding material.
- Prepare and maintain all billing records.
- To Maintain/file/record all important documentation as per IS0 9001 Standards and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- To forecast material requirement in advance on basis of theoretical calculation of work should be going to executive.
- Monitor the labor (cards and musters), use of materials, funds and other resources to eliminate wastage.
- Maintain the material inventory and analyze the construction process to look for inefficiencies. If required, order more material to keep up with the need.
- Reconciliation of the material and theoretical calculation of consumption of steel, cement and other material supplied by company and keep track of total quantity consumed in project.
- To ensure all PPE safety measures are followed by the workforce on site.
- Train the workforce regarding safety procedure and job hazards and ensure, all necessary release/cautions orders/ permit are obtained/ in place before commencing the job.
- Ensure staffs trained in safe and proper working procedures and all safety rules and regulations are followed properly.
- To ensure the staff is trained/ educated to follow the safety work procedure, rules and regulation.
- Inspect working area regularly and report accidents and near mishaps immediately.
- Establish and maintain check list for inspection of all PPE equipment and hand tools and scaffolding before usage.
