IXL Sub - System Leader - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Alstom

As an IXL Sub-System Leader you are responsible to deploy Interlocking Application Engineering process Tools for Design Verification activities of IXL Data Design / IXL Interface Drawings (Indoor, Outdoor ckts, Cable core plan)., responsible for the management and succesful completion of all the activities related to Interlocking design both at System Subsystem level

What are my Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems requiring innovation and creativitiy

• Provide technical guidance to individuals or teams in solving problems. Mentor those less experienced in the department

• Lead or participate in technical discussions directly with customer and represent / protect the companys interest

• Keep abreast of technologies used by the company industry and remain current prepared for technology chances withitn the work environment

• Have Systems thinking 3 views system engineering (functional, architectural and operational)

• Act in line to achieve Project Key Performance Indicators

• Provide suggestions to Department Head about improvements in process by applying new techniques

What do I need to qualify for this job
This role isexpected to build effective working relationships across a diverse project team, plan efficiently adapt quickly, check consistency before delivering, and able to establish simple communication on complex topics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.E / B. Tech or Diploma with 8+ year of signalling experience

• Proficient in English Language and MS office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Signalling Circuit design, Good knowledge of Signalling equipment, Product specification and Operation procedures

• Significant experience in delivery of design, analysis, development, testing and delivery. Has good awareness of industry norms and standards EN51028, 50129, 50126 etc

• Site working exposure and experience

• Experience on factory production of cubicles

• Good knowledge of Electrical/Electronics engineering basics

• Awareness of processes in safety critical industry Requirement management, configuration and change management

• Analysis / debugging / troubleshooting acumen.

• Technical decision making.

• Project management skills

• UK IRSE Designer Verifier license
