Job Description
Job Title: Testing Engineer
Department: Development-Lab
Location: Chakan-Pune
Reports To: HOD
Role & responsibilities:
Key responsibility (Testing):
- Should able to read & understand drawings.
- Knowledge on Rubber Parts static & Dynamic stiffness characteristic test.
- Knowledge to understand the test directions & preload conditions of Radial / Axial / Torsional & Conica test requirements.
- Knowledge on operating the Elastomer Test machines like Static, Durability & UTM Machines.
- Knowledge at MTS / BISS / INTRON make Elastomer Test machines is preferable.
- Knowledge in Rubber parts Durability Test (Uni , Bi & Tri Axial test setup).
- Able to operate & extract the output from the Test Machines.
- Knowledge on correlating the test results with Drawing specs & requirements.
- Knowledge to prepare excel test results & reports.
Key Responsibly (Inspection):
- Should able to read & understand drawings.
- Knowledge on Rubber Parts Dimension measurement activity.
- Knowledge on operating the measuring instrument like Vernier / Micrometer / Height Gauge / Profile projector etc.
- Knowledge to use the Fillet Gauge / Filler Gause / Slip Gause etc..
- Basic Knowledge to work with Microsoft office to prepare test reports.
- Knowledge in selection of Test Instrument based on Drawing & product shape.
- Basic Knowledge in MSA / R&R / Calibration & Quality systems is required.
- Knowledge in maintain the record of Instrument & Gauge Calibration history.

- Leadership & Team management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
