We are hiring for Developers who has at least 2+ yrs of work experience on PostgreSQL and overall experience of 6+ yrs for Bangalore location.

JOB SUMMARY

Postgres Lead and Developer --- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

# Analyze functional requirement and conceptual logical model created by EA team # Design and document physical data model in Erwin # Generate DDLs where applicable # Provide inputs for source to target mapping for data conversion # Good knowledge on multiple backup platforms # Should have worked on Backup monitoring reporting tools # Participate in Restores, software upgrades, agent upgrade and patching activities etc. # Should under stand and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge base articles documentation. # Should have knowledge on de-duplication and replication concepts SPECIALIZATION With more and more IT infrastructures switching to the cloud and looking for massively scalable cloud adoption methods, migration from an Oracle database to AWS RDS for PostgreSQL is gaining popularity. End users are moving towards database systems which offer focused services.
