Job Description
We Required Embedded Software Testing Engineer for Manufacturing co at Rabale.
Position: Sr. Engineer - Software Testing
Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: Preferably 3 - 10 years
Qualification: BE / B.Tech.Electronics and telecommunication, instrumentation with proven experience of testing preferably withISTQB certification
CTC: No bar
Reporting Point: Team Leader/ Manager
Preferred Sector /companies:The candidate should be fromembedded software/software development based company
Roles and responsibilities:
1) Test plan design and development for any product
2)Test case design and development based on input requirements received from manager/developer
3) Test script development based on test cases
4) White box and black box testing of all products
5)Testing of products to be done within the time period specified following all the possible design methodologies for
test case management
6) Provide the test failure scenarios and carry out test runs in V&V model
7) Work in collaboration with developers and managers and check whether the deliverablesareas per the requirement
8)Documentation of all the test cases with status for future reference
Key Skills required:
-
1) Knowledge of C/C++programming
2)Knowledge of version control system like svn
3)Knowledge of Project Management and configuration Management
4)Knowledge of automation test scripts
5)Experience in Test script development using C/CC++/python
6)Electronics product testing experience in any domain(preferably any embedded domain) with knowledge of using oscilloscope, multimeters etc
7) Experience of working on industrial products like valves, actuators, transmitters, smart industrial products etc
8)Knowledge of SDLC and STLC models
9)Experience of designing, developing and executing test cases withknowledge ofV&V models
10)Knowledge of testing tools like labview, TFS, Wireshark, any automated testing tool for white/black box testing
11)Knowledge of protocols likeHART, Profibus, Modbus etc
12)Preferably having ISTQB certification
13)Preferable qualification: Electronics and telecommunication, instrumentation with proven experience of testing
14) Strong problem solving skills 15) Good logical & analytical skills 16) Good Project management skills 17) Good communication skills
18) Self Motivated / result oriented personality
