Job Description

The Test Automation Engineer implements the automation solution based on the standard Automation Frameworks, processes, coding standards, naming conventions and best practices as per the defined guidelines. Develop and maintain Automation testing architecture and support future initiatives for test automation for products and applications across the enterprise.

The Automation Engineer supports quality principles and processes in place for IT products, applications, and systems. The Automation Engineer develops test plans and scripts, prepares test data, executes functional test using automated testing techniques, and builds and configures the automation test beds and frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities Essential Duties

• Participate in and support requirements review to understand automation test tool application behavior
• Review and evaluate detailed business requirements and automation technical requirements required to build the automation test bed for medium / complex projects
• Leverage current tools supported by QA Platform team and the Automation Frameworks maintained by the Health IT teams and formulate best usage of test automation tool and framework based on business delivery needs
• Collaborate with project teams to strategize align long term solution for automation including roadmap, tools, framework approach
• Performs test automation utilizing testing tools such as Selenium
• Ensure enterprise projects adherence compliance to the Automation testing processes and standards.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expert on industry leading any of Automation Testing tools like Selenium [Selenium is must]
• Experience in C# for framework Development
• Experience in BDD Framework
• Expert in framework setup, maintenance, and migration activities.
• Expert in designing Webservices / API test framework.
• Expert in analysing and implementing Mobile Automation strategy, frameworks etc.
• Experience in Azure DevOps functionalities/Principles Azure Devops portal functionalities like, Azure Dev Ops Boards, Repos(Using VS and GIT), CI/CD pipelines, Azure Test plans etc.
• Minimum of 6 to 10 years in the Information Technology field, focusing on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing.
• Experience in basic SQL queries from back end to Test the data
