Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Fttx Construction Engineer - Marmagao, Vasco Da Gama - Salary: Rs. 2,50,000 - Rs. 3,50,000
Experience: 3yrs to 6yrs
1. Responsible for field operations and maintenance of FTTx network
2. OLT, ODN Network HOTO within SLA
3. Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
4. Plan , monitor and control spares material, TMI and Tools requirement
& availability as per design norms for assigned Scope, Calibration of
TMI.
5. Resolve O2A issues assigned to O&M
6. Coordination, supervision and technical support to FRT and Technician
7. Liaising with local authority/building owners etc.
8. Interface and coordination with cross functional teams (Consruction,
Home Care, Business, MSP etc)
9. Material related activities.
Skills & Competencies :
1. Hands on experience of Splicing, OTDR, LSPM and cable locator
2. Fiber Network O&M Experience
3. O&M of Transmission/IP Network equipments
4. Good Knowledge of Fiber Optics communication
5. Basic knowledge of Transmission/DLC/OLT equipment's
6. Good communication Skill
7. Analytical and problem solving skill
2. Field Engineer - Panaji, Margao - Salary Rs. 2,50,000 - Rs. 4,00,000 Experience: 1-3yrs
1. Ensure material tracking and reconciliation management
2. Visit sites regularly and ensure all sites are up and running
3. Supervise radio frequency optimization related activities
4. Oversee quality control of PBOT vendors/ contractors/ SOLPAR
5. Conduct acceptance test processes
6. Assist Sr. Field engineers in audits on time to time basis
7. Manage deployment related activities conducted by vendor/contractors
8. Configure L2 switch to connect access points and enhance network
9. Trouble shoot faults related to router and replace faulty hardware
10. Link capacity upgrade /micro wave upgrade for sites with more than
70% utilization
11. Execute field activities as per work orders issued by Network
Operations Centre for improving network performance and customer
complaint resolution
12. Meet customers, conduct surveys and provide feedback on network
coverage and capacity improvement
