Job Description
1 to 6 years of experience in market/business research, business intelligence domain either in KPO, research or research background in academic
Role overview: (Detailed role description 10-12 lines)
- The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Aon Risk Management business.
- The position provides support to the firm s market and business intelligence to the extended global team.
- The individual will primarily be responsible for the coordination and completion of research tasks, data collection and analytical assignment with high quality within the required deadlines for a variety of regional offices around the globe.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment to propel the team performance to achieve yearly goals.
- Work on Research projects (company profile, industry profile, opportunity alerts, list generation, newsletters, ad-hoc projects etc.)
- Synthesize and analyze information coherently and succinctly. Able to bring together a variety of perspectives and sources across the domain to deliver compelling analysis that supports business priorities.
- Understand and analyze and interpret company information, such as, goals, financials, strategy, and SWOT etc.
- Understands client/ business requirements, interpret relevant information, and accordingly deliver the projects
- Demonstrate understanding of research techniques, within Secondary research
- Work/collaborate effectively with team members
Skills Knowledge Requirements:
- Understand and analyze and interpret company information, such as, goals, financials, strategy, and SWOT etc.
- Present information and findings in his/her own words (company and industry profiles, ad-hoc projects etc.)
- Coordinating with Line/ Work Stream Managers in managing stakeholder expectations and pipeline, during the absence of Line Manager or senior most member of the team
- Actively contribute and participate in the wider ACPL initiatives and cross team collaboration.
- Develop stronger working relationship with stakeholders
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assume responsibilities for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness
- Demonstrate interest ability to implement innovation/ process improvement initiatives as suggested by Line managers, in consultation with clients/ stakeholders
Mandatory Skills (Behavioral)
- Understand and follow process/ manager instructions
- Demonstrates ability to use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies, including financial analysis skills, to synthesize information, review data inputs and provide analytic insights
- Strong team player with logical thinking. Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate and build upon the data analysis.
- Can do attitude, flexibility, ability to respond quickly and creatively to changing requirements
Mandatory Skills (Specialized)
- Demonstrates ability to use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies, including financial analysis skills, to synthesize information, review data inputs and provide analytic insights
- Adept at using strategically sound analytical methodologies and capable at coaching less-experienced team members to improve their skills in research, analysis, data analytics and visualization.
- Experience on IMF, Regulatory data, SNL, AM best, Bloomberg, Capital IQ will be added advantage
- Knowledge of databases like Hoovers, OneSource, Factiva, Salesforce
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data manipulation.
