Job Description
WE HAVE AN URGENT OPENING FOR THE POSITION OF /DEPUTY MANAGER NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOR OUR MACHINE SHOP
Roles and Responsibility's
- Responsible for Estimation of competitive cycle time and development cost for machined components.
- Preparation of process flow, plan & design the fixtures, selection of machining & Tools
- Responsible for preparation of tool list for new parts / components and identifying supplier for corresponding tools and foul check with fixture
- Responsible for selection of optimized process and cutting tools to and ensure machining cost is less than the quoted time during Feasibility stage.
- Proving the jigs and fixtures during sampling and ensure timely recalibration periodically during production run
- Responsible to establish all the NPD parts to be within targeted cycle time, rejection level and machining cost.
- Responsible for establishing special process with outside subcontractors on parts involving after machining process.
- Responsible to spearhead the CFT team for machining stock reduction projects
- Responsible to interact with customers for smooth development process
- Responsible to periodic review with CFT members to achieve department goals
- Responsible for getting quotes from identified supplier and finalization of the prices
- Responsible for Preparing SOP on operation wise
- Responsible for drawing release to user departments for further production
- CNC Programming and Fixture concept finalization with designer
- Effective safety practices and good house keeping
SEY SKILLS:
- Education - Candidate must 8 to 12 Years With BE, B. Tech , Or Diploma/ Mechanical /Metallurgy
- Previous experience working in a Machine Shop environment.
- Hands-on experience using Fanuc software, or Edge Cam.
- The confidence to be a role model and leader.
