Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passionate about Robotics and Electronics having spent 100+ hours tinkering in labs
- Should have been an active member of the college robotics (or equivalent) club for at projects worked hands-on with multiple embedded projects using Arduino and other controllers.
- Should Complete BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Computer and mechanical
- Good knowledge in electronics components, sensors and actuators.
- Good knowledge in Arduino IDE, C, C++, Python coding and scripting languages.
- Basic understanding of microcontrollers and it architectures like Arduino, ESP32 Dev board, other controllers.
- Good in understanding knowledge the various different products using different controllers.
- Good understanding with communication protocols like UART, I2C and SPI.
- Good in rapid prototyping.
- Good knowledge in different type of sensors like, Ultrasonic sensor, IR sensor, LDR, Bluetooth, PIR sensor etc.
- Ready to accept different challenges for technical troubleshooting sessions with customers on robotics products, interaction with customers, different type of works like production and supporting the team.
- Strength in collaborating with various members and ability to teach and explain fundamentals concepts in a simple way.
Product Focus
- Understand the ecosystem; business requirements and targets and develop a roadmap for the robotics team at
- Create a clean process and set up documents and assets for the Robotics toys and kits;
- Prototype, Develop, Maintain the current products and produce new robots along with technical support.
Growth Focus
- Create product positioning and communicate with various stakeholders- Production teams, content teams, product heads, on the roadmap for robotics at K12.
- Own and create various aspects of the robotics team: New product development, curriculum structure, tools and machines set up, prototyping
- Build clear and complete design documentation
- Assess and apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve existing kits and robots
Building team and support structure
- As the need arises, Identify, evaluate and bring on-board consultants, freelancers, full-timers, agencies for different
- Build competence to nurture a team of junior cadets joining our
Thought Leadership
- Evaluate emerging trends in robotics and STEM education and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption, where appropriate.
