Job Description: Branch Head
At SBICAP Securities (SSL) we are looking for Branch Head who would be part of our PRIME channel. PRIME is an Open market channel carved out as a full service outfit that would take care of a customers investment needs with the twin objective of creating and protecting wealth. Prime channel offers the flexibility to source new customers from various sources available in the Open market including your existing customer base.
Being a Branch Head would entail you to meet and exceed defined business objectives by the company from time to time. You would be required to monitor, drive and grow business of Equity (broking) and Investment products namely Life & General Insurance, Mutual Funds, Corp. FDs amongst others. At SSL we shall ensure regular interventions in form of trainings, certifications, newer partnerships and superior product range that would in turn assist you in creating a profitable and relevant business at Branch Level. This position will report into the Regional Head.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
Someone whos passionate, self-motivated, a go getter and keen to be part of the growth story at SSL. Candidates with proven track record in Broking and Distribution products having a strong relationship with their existing customers would be the right fit. The Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) will include:
1. Looking for Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in BFSI preferably in a Broking / Wealth channel
2. The position would be reporting to Regional Head -Retail Distribution.

1. The person will handle 4 to 5 branches independently and responsible for all matters related to his region, i.e. sales in respected region, motivate & drive the team towards defined Business Goals & Achievement of Corp. plans
Ensuring the productivity of region and Branchs as per the plan..
2. Monitor individual & Team performance and take steps to improve productivity to desired levels and correct aberrations.
3. Initiate various sales campaign / promotions in the region. Utilize sales programs to acquire new relationships.
4. Deliver business plan growth and income objectives; manage, coach and support branch employees on developing, managing and growing profitable customer relationships to support these efforts
5. Enhance Cross sell Business through Distribution products to clients and prospects
6. Ensure branches meet and exceeds established sales and revenue goals while keeping expenses minimized.
7. Oversee & participate in development, expansion and management of B2C and B2B relationships within the locations managed
8. Ensure adherence to all processes laid down by the company. Maintenance of statutory timings, discipline, cleanliness of companys premises.
