Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Commercial Contract Manager
The Contract Manager (CM) works with Genpact clients and colleagues to ensure a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship for both parties.
This role is typically assigned to a small number of large specified clients, or even a single large client, depending on the business requirement.
The CM will be responsible for the integrity of the commercial relationship between Genpact and its client throughout the relationship life-cycle, starting with the handover from Legal and the pre-sales team during Transition.
These relationship stages and CM responsibilities include:
Work with Legal, Pricing, and iCon team to prepare a contract summary, identify contract risks and adopt mitigation solutions to enable the fulfillment of key Genpact and client financial and operational objectives.
Assist the Transition and Operating Leaders in the setup of key commercial processes, including invoicing, and change control.
Work with the Operating Leader, Relationship Manager, and Finance to prepare and submit invoices for submission to the client, and closeout related client queries and disputes.
o Change Request Management
Work with the Operating Leader and Relationship Manager to manage the end-to-end Change Request process for major Changes, including Change Form submission, impact assessment, agreement, fulfillment, and reporting.
Support Operating Leader, Relationship Manager, and Legal in dispute resolution discussions.
o Portfolio Management
Provide regular feedback to Commercial leadership on lessons learned from contract relationships.
Qualifications we seek in you
Undergraduate / Postgraduate degree from a credible university, with a degree in law, accounting, economics, commerce, or other related commercial disciplines.
Professional qualifications in law, accounting, or related commercial disciplines
Excellent track record of performance, delivery, and innovation in complex international working environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access)
Experience in using leading contract management tools e.g. Icertis, Apttus.
Experience in managing complex services contracts, either on the buy-side or sell-side.
Understanding of invoicing process.
Knowledge of management accounting, in particular pricing models, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
Articulate and effective communicator. Highly proficient in written and oral business communication to senior colleagues and clients.
Ability to establish credible relationships and influence clients and colleagues.
Good planning and organizational skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and demands.
Good attention to detail, well-organized, flexible.
