Position : Metallurgy Manager

Location : Sonipat ( Haryana) 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Should have worked at least 7-8 years at managerial position with good experience in bearing industry
• Should understand, diagnose, rectify core problems and capable of implementing strong systems
• Proficient in vendor development for forging, annealing and outsourcing of heat treatment process
• Thorough knowledge of steel making process to enable steel grade and supplier selection
• Responsible for vendor metallurgical quality approval and improvement
• Handling of metallurgy lab and outsourcing of testing for tests like SEM, retained austenite, residual stress, etc
• Knowledge of NDT Testing like MPI, ultrasonic testing etc
• Capable in through hardening heat treatment process development, martensitic and bainitic and establishing process control
• Heat treatment department team and production handling
• Improving furnace production, reducing cycle time
• New furnace design and installation
• Furnace maintenance, furnace validation through CQI9, TUS, SAT, etc.
• Knowledge of steel microstructure and analysis
• Conduct failure investigation of field failure parts and find root cause
• Proficient in QMS and other audit requirements
• Training and development of team
• Carry out improvement and cost saving projects

Remuneration : 10 to 15 LPA
