Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure critical equipment SOPs required to deliver the critical Data Center services are implemented and complied with including Qualcomm SHE requirements.
- Planning, scheduling and deployment of manpower and tasks efficiently to ensure that the required service scope and service levels as per SLA are achieved consistently.
- Periodical reviews with management on critical equipment operational improvement
- Providing the recommendation for fixing the PM schedule of Critical assets based on the performance
- Preparing road map to improve the uptime and performance of all the critical equipments
- Response for ding the risk assessment and proving the mitigation plan for the same
- Monitoring of performance and equipment health status for critical equipment
- Tracking of Lab loads and providing the dash boards on periodical basis
- As per management expectations planning of R&M works execution and ensuring work completion as per the timelines
- Providing the RCA reports if any equipment failures
- Responsible for overall healthiness of the equipment and upkeep to high standards of operations and maintenance
- Ensuring business continuity especially during critical times and keeping the senior management and informed
- Planning and deployment of appropriate manpower to achieve the requirements of defined scope of work in SLA.
- Serviceability of all equipment and upkeep of tools and tackles required for the function/operation.
- Implementing Operational Excellence systems and processes for the function responsible.
- Plan and do scheduled walk through around the facility on daily basis and ensure everything is meeting the service delivery as required by Qualcomm.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualified graduate (B. tech in electrical and electronics engineering)
- 33KVA License Holder
- Data center certified Profession
- 10+years Experience in M&E operations, Specialized in Data center Operations management
- Understanding of Technical area of expertise
- Good at trouble shooting of Electrical, HVAC systems & Fires systems in DC Operations
- Good Knowledge of Data center operations
- Leadership skills & Good Communication
- Interpersonal Skills
Good planning and organizing skills
Accountabilities
- Ensuring the Uptime of Power, cooling & Fire Support system of all the Data centers
- Ensuing the Data Center loads to be within design limits
- Analyze/ recommend solution on the DC Loads management
- Implement and maintain business improvement and process improvement areas
- Ensuring all critical equipment PPM be completed as per plan
KPI & Goals
- Ensuring the 100% Uptime of DC Operations & critical equipment
- DC load management & dashboard generation
- Break down analysis and providing RCA
- Improving the performance of DC
- Maintaining 100% serviceability of all critical Engineering systems supporting DC
- Increase in team spirit and staff morale.
- Consistently achieve a clean and hygienic environment at all Engineering areas in the site, Timely compilation and submission of all operational, reports in line with the requirements of Qualcomm and as well Technical Manager (Sodexo).
