Job Description
Our clients a leading Group in Africa is looking for the following for their Plastic Factory in Ghana.
Job Title: Maintenance in Charge /Manager
Location: Africa
Report to: Works Manager
Salary $ 2000 p.m. (offshore net savings shall be paid on a quarterly basis to candidates designated account)
Manage/Supervise: Mechanical / Electrical maintenance team and core maintenance team.
Job Mission:
'Principal Responsibility:
Read & understand Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic diagrams.
Responsible for Spare parts management & control.
Implementing different Continuous Improvement Plans in the Areas of Reducing Product Cycle Time, Power Saving, Safety, 5S, Cost Cutting, TPM Activities.
Maintain machine history cards, result oriented systems to improve machine uptime
Resource utilization and optimization.
Team management & Training of subordinate.
Project execution, Machine instillation & commissioning.'
'Educational Qualifications:
BE electrical/ electromechanical. Engineering'
'Knowledge and Experience:
10 to 15 years of experience working in IM, SBM, IBM, EBM.
Machinery. With Husky, Ferromatic, ASB and Netstal, Sidel. Any three is mandatory.'
'Key Competencies:
Skilled in Maintenance Management activities like Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Breakdown maintenance on machines, axillary and ancillary equipment.
Efficient in Developing and Streamlining Systems with proven ability to Enhance Maintenance Effectiveness and Meet Operational Goals within the Time Limit in Plant.
Preferred background with hands on experience with mixed culture of electrical and hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting throughout his career on IM, SBM, IBM, EBM.
Ability to work under pressure.
In depth Knowledge in Preparing & Implementing Preventive Maintenance Schedules for Improving Overall Efficiency, Reliability and Safety of Plant Equipment, Machineries & Utilities with OEM guidelines &
to plant environment conditions.
An Effective Communicator with Strong Analytical, Decision Making,
Strong Problem Solving Skills with Good knowledge on tools like TPM, 5S, Keizen.

Blowing molding:-
Sidel linear & rotational machine, ASB. Axillaries and ancillary equipment
Compression Molding :-
SACMI CCM, FSM, vision inspection system.
Axillaries and ancillary equipment
Utility equipment:-
LP& HP compressors (ELGI, Atlas Copco, Hertz, Keiser &AF make)
Chillers, Mold dryers & Resin dryers (Piovan, Greenbox, husky, prasad make'
