Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Driving product development for domestic & international launches for for Ayurvedic products. Lead a team of Formulation chemists
• Drive formulation projects on an end- to end basis:
• Understanding the principles of Ayurveda strongly, & conceptualizing innovations that are authentic & efficacious. Strong knowledge on sustainable clean & green product development
• Explore new Raw materials & develop exciting innovations. Develop prototypes, making product proposals to upper management, marketing & stakeholders
• Strongly adhere to the product development timelines, problem solving around formulation challenges. Follow all quality parameters necessary for product development, ensure good laboratory & good documentation practices.
• Play active role in creating a structured database/ tool for formulation & RM information archiving.
• Active collaboration with product evaluation & regulatory team. Active collaboration with factory team for scale up, collaboration with stakeholders- SCM, marketing, design, regulatory, international team for driving launches.
• Developing scientific valorization for company through papers , patents,

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience : minimum 5 years in cosmetic industry; strong knowledge on formulation; preferable to have knowledge on natural, organic formulation

Good to have knowledge on scale up process; regulatory.

Education: PhD/ MPharm / Msc (chemistry) from a reputed university (IIT/ IISc/IICT/NIT/JU/DU/ state university of good repute)

Location - Noida
