Title: Software Engineer
Experience 2 to 8 years
Wireless LAN Coexistence Team
Engineering graduate in CS, ECE or related trades with the following Skills:
Good knowledge of communication systems, preferably Wireless LAN MAC
Preferable to have knowledge of communications systems (nice if WLAN) Physical layer
Experience in low level programming/ assembly programming.
Knowledge of HW interfacing
Fluent in C and Assembly.
Good debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Bluetooth or LTE is a plus.
Experience with HW debugging, using tools like Logic Analyzer.
Responsibilities:
Microcode design and development
Perform MAC hardware testing on QT and other simulation test benches
Support software and physical layer design teams in debugging issues.
Fixing issues raised by Broadcom testing teams
Analyze test results and report failures to Broadcom through problem reports
Investigate issues to isolate and identify the cause for each problem identified by Broadcom
Involve in development and troubleshooting of new features planned as part of the wireless LAN MAC, like coexistence with other radio systems and more.
Ideal Candidate would have basics of C and Data structures in C ( Binary Tree), C++, Make file, File system, Socket programming and Compilation command gcc and g++ and domain knowledge.
