Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the team to discuss verification protocols
- Identifying product application weaknesses and target areas
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
- Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults
- Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
- Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
- Creating an automation test plan and getting approval and Implementing it as per the structure of the project
- Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
- Collating and monitoring the defect management process
- Managing the changes and executing regression tests
- Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling
- Interacting with clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of Exp. in Automation testing and product testing
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Selenium Web Driver, Jenkins, Continuous Integration, Agile Software Development, SQL/RDBMS
- Participating in Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
- Expertise with one or more behaviour- or test-driven (BDD or TDD) and JavaScript automated testing frameworks and tools
- Develops automated test scripts for new features based on acceptance criteria and user stories during each development Sprint
- Comfortable with Linux/MacOS X development environment
- Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and Python.
- Experience with Git version control system
- Must have knowledge on API Automation testing
