Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Preparation

• Analyze software requirements and design documents to understand testing needs.

• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Identify test scenarios, input data, and expected results.

2. Test Execution

• Perform manual and/or automated testing to validate software functionality.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Verify bug fixes and changes to ensure quality standards are maintained.

3. Defect Management

• Identify, log, and track defects in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Retest resolved defects and ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
