Job Description

Role Summary

As Analytics Manager you will be accountable for delivering the HR Analytics framework and insights. The intent is to identify actionable insights through the analysis of people metrics and partner with leaders as well as the HR function to make informed strategic decisions.

The role will look after the development of meaningful people dashboards and people analysis projects through the integration of multiple data sets from various systems to deliver data driven insights that have actionable outcomes. The role is diverse and requires strong analytics and modelling, project management and presentation skills to drive outcomes and influence stakeholders accordingly.

Role Responsibilities

1. Embed and further advance the HR Analytics framework across the region to arm HR leads and People Leaders with insights to support informed decisions that deliver business results and achievement of the people strategy. This encompasses:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining a suite of people dashboards using Tableau, including the support of annual HR cycles, DI and operational business priorities.
  • Drive people analysis projects that evaluate the efficiency and impact of HR programs and processes. Also drive operational effectiveness with business performance data coupled with people data to deliver powerful insights that guide strategic people decisions.
  • Communicate findings in stakeholder ready materials (Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Lead a work stream on a project to assist in the identification of data needs and recommendation development.
  • Manage the governance framework, data audit process and work within global operating model security assignments to ensure data integrity and manage operational risk.

2. Deliver regular reporting to meet business operational priorities as required via: a. Timely and accurate production of reporting, whether automated, scheduled or Adhoc utilizing the various HR systems (Workday, ICIMS, PeopleSoft, etc.).

b. Consult and design the development of new analytics solutions and tools.

3. Enable understanding and data literacy for our HR colleagues through coaching to empower them to utilize data outputs available to them to be able to tell the story .

4. Continue to advance the analytics offering through different analytical techniques, drive automation and system integration as well as build capability in statistical modelling for people analytics to support the HR remit.

Skills Knowledge Requirements

  • Hands-on with databases and visualization tools Streamset, SQL server data tools, Hadoop, Cloudera, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel (VBA); with ability of optimize performance of large data models using queries.
  • Experience with Python/ R or any statistical analysis tools, preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities with an ability integrate disparate sources of information to understand data trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tell the story from the analysis to stakeholders.
  • Experience creating dashboards, visualizations and reports to present data in a meaningful way.

  • Ability to listen and interpret stakeholder needs to ensure requirements are met
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, on multiple work streams, and competing priorities
  • Ability to lift out of the detail and speak to a more strategic level with stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to find creative solutions to identified challenges
  • Willingness to learn and to solve complex problems
  • Regularly identifies opportunities to take on additional responsibility and work efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • You bring a strong analytical ability but a people-focused approach as well as the ability to see things from an end-user perspective. You will also bring experience in:
  • Identifying and creating metrics/KPIs based on stakeholder inputs.
  • Create calculated metrics and indexes.
  • Design, develop, test, and optimize large reports.
  • Create automated data validations.
  • Secure and configure reports to manage user access.
  • Design and develop dashboards; ability to create meaningful visualizations to drive informed decision making.
