Job Opening as a Design Engineer in Tarapur MIDC- Engineering
The company is the leading and largest manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of highly durable and energy-efficient centrifuge machines in India. high-quality centrifuge machines find their applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, and food processing industries for liquid-solid separation.
Exp- 1 to 3 yrs
Job Description-
- Study project requirement. Understand work scope and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support to the sales team. Give guidance for the preparation of documentation/proposal. Prepare designs as per requirement. Submit designs to the sales team. Ensure on-time support to the sales team till client approval.
- Ensure accuracy of designs and on-time submission. Understand suggestions given by the client and make changes in the designs if required.
- As per the design, identify the labor and material requirement and provide tentative production costs to TL.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawing and share the same with TL. Discuss if any changes are required. Accordingly, update the design and if any cost
- modifications are there then discuss these with the Sales team and assist them in updating PO.
- Prepare a list of materials. Handover technical specifications to stores department to check material availability.
- Handover designs & manufacturing drawings to the production department for further process. Submit installation drawings to the installation & commissioning department.
- Maintain a copy of designs & drawings in the Design department.
- After dispatch, provide support during the installation and commissioning process.
- Resolve technical queries and ensure on-time support.
- Do the coordination with all the concerned departments and provide design-related support as per requirement.
- Provide assistance in Machine Manual preparation.
- Analyze the designs of existing products and identify the area of improvement.
- Prepare analysis report and present the same to concerned team members and management.
- As per need, identify/invent new products and prepare designs for the same.
- Coordinate with the Electrical and Instrumentation department to check the feasibility of the product. Assist in prototype preparation.
- Compile and update daily/weekly/monthly work-related reports and submit them to management as per requirement.
