Design Engineer - Transmission Tower I @ Diksha

Job Description

We have anurgentopening for the position of Design Engineer - Transmission Towerf or one of our esteemed clients in Kolkata.

BE/ Diploma - Mechanical or Civil with 3 to 5 years experience in Engineering Design of Overhead Transmission Towers/ Poles hould apply immediately with their updated resume and CTC details.

Eligibility:

a) Education: BE - Mechanicalor Civil (preferred). Diploma - Mechanical/ Civil engineer with relevant experience may also be considered.

b) Experience & Exposure: 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Design Engineering with at least 2 years experience in design of overhead transmission line towers in Power/ Engineering/ EPC/Design companies.

c) Skills & Competencies:

- Modeling and designing of overhead transmission line towers

- Preparation of sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram as per specification

- Structural analysis and foundationdesignssuch as Isolated and Pile foundation for transmission linetowersand telecomtower

- Prepare SLD, foundation drawing and layout

- Hands-on knowledge of modeling &designingusing "PLWTower" (or PLS CADD/ PLS Pole) preferred

- Knowledge of otherdesigning/ modeling software tools such as AutoCad, Staad Pro, Revit, Tekla etc.
