Roles and Responsibilities/Qualifications
MUST READ, SPEAK AND WRITE ENGLISH fluently . and must be able to work at night shifts from 5 pm to 2 am.
Assist with estimating/ quantity take offs as per specs and project manuals.
- Assist team members follow the specifications, drawings, general conditions, addendums, and change orders.
- Handle pre- and post-construction activities.
- Initiate, prepare, review, track and submit RFIs and submittals.
- Assist in management of project permits process.
- Track and inspect materials as per specification and handle deliveries.
- Familiar with ASTM, ANSI, ACI etc.
- Read and comprehend blueprints for use in the field, and discuss with owners, architects, management team and contractors.
- Assist in project close outs.
- Produce as built drawings as needed.
- Assist with estimating/ quantity take offs as per specs and project manuals
- Can work long hours and under pressure
- Must be proactive, highly analytical and attentive to details.
- Ability to read and analyze construction documents for public, private and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and computer applications (AutoCAD, MS office, word, excel, power point and estimating software etc.)
- Ability to communicate with clients, vendors, managers, and team members effectively and efficiently.
- Mathematical proficiency such as fractions, unit conversions, percentages for practical situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of oral and written communications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time to catch deadlines.
