Team / Opportunity

Order Handling Platform is one of the key technology portfolios at A.P. Moller Maersk. We are in the journey to modernize our current platform.

The opportunity is to build an end-to-end logistics platform that is multi-tenant across different channels. The challenge is to build it smart and quick ensuring Business as usual.

You will work closely with Business team to understand the requirements, drive design, architecture and influence the choice of technology to deliver solution working closely with senior architects and leadership team.

Join our highly energetic and dynamic team and take part in defining the new age Logistics platform. You will also have challenging opportunities to cross-collaborate with inter-disciplinary product and engineering teams to solve some of the unique challenges in Shipping domain.

Your Responsibilities

As a UI Engineer, collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, cross-org leaders to understand requirements, and help define & refine them

Own the end-to-end development of reusable and configurable web widgets that meet a high bar of excellence, enhance, and evolve existing widgets as needed

Independently drive medium-to-large sized projects, taking them from conceptualization to implementation and integration

Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

Establishing and maintaining a solid collaboration and feedback loop with UX and partner teams / leads to ensure uncompromising standards of work delivered

Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches

Your Qualifications

experience in software product development engineering.

experience in developing web applications with complex user interfaces and components

Minimum 3 years of working experience in product companies into ecommerce, logistics, etc.

Must have launched at least one UI application from conceptualization to production.

Must have led and solved complex problems - given the org objectives and business challenges.

Mandatory Skills

Extensive knowledge of and experience with Vue or React and its core principles, and popular React workflows (Flux / Redux), best practices, style guide, testing, and component architecture

Thorough expertise in frontend web development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM APIs and modern web APIs

A solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals such as closures, prototype, call-backs, event loop, promises, error handling

A good technical mindset and product development driven experience.

Strong opinions on technology, product and architecture backed by data relevant to our business

Strong sense of product ownership and commitment to grow and build product thinking, coupled with a strong passion for technology and innovation

Passion to seek and evangelize tools to help development, testing and deployment, including automation.

Passion for quick learning and adapting in a fast-paced global environment.

Penchant to look at production and identify technical requirements for product improvements.

Strong sense of ownership focusing on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
