We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art ofprogramming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce
visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design
and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how
it works.
What you will do:
1. Work on existing software solutions or new systems on the specified programming language.
2. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality of the solution you are working on.
4. Working closely with business analysts, software engineers, product managers, designers and other
stakeholders.
5. Write well-designed and efficient code by adhering to the specified coding standards.
6. Mentor and support other team members by doing code reviews and applying your experience in process and
technical leadership.
7. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
Requirements
1. Min. 2 years of experience in the front-end development field.2. Proficiency with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
3. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
4. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
5. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
6. Good understanding should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as
Angular, ReactJS
7. Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
8. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an
image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
9. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
10. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
11. Flexibility to switch to a new programming language as and when required.
12. Ability to own a product and deliver exceptional quality.
13. Analytical capabilities and logical approach to problem-solving.
14. Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodology.
15. Proficiency in software engineering tools.
16. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or any other relevant course.
17. Good communication skills - including the ability to convey information to non-technical team members in a
concise and clear way.
18. Ability to understand the end-user.
