Job Description

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry- accepted best practices
• Oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
• Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases
• Lead and mentor QA team members
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Design, develop and enhance test automation frameworks/scripts, as necessary
• Work closely with the development team to validate user stories, bugs resolved and manage downstream release management process and communication

Required skills and experience

• Experience in Web / Mobile Application Testing
• Hands on experience in test cases design, execution and defect reporting
• Experience in testing REST APIs and tools like Postman, SOAPUI
• Automation using Selenium Web Driver
• Performance testing using tools like Load Runner, JMeter,
• Experience in Database testing
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience in working with Agile Scrum
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands on experience with AWS, JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT and Jenkins would be an added advantage
• Experience in IoT testing would be an added advantage
• Prior working experience with AWS cloud-based services - any or all of EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS, Document DB, EMR etc
• Expertise in one of the databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra
• Good working knowledge of industry best practices for Software

Good to have skills and experience

• Bachelor's level degree, preferably in the field of either Computer Science, Electronics or Alternatively MCA degree with relevant experience.
