Job Description
e-Commerce Platform Manager
Job Summary
The candidate is expected to manage the initial set-up during the development stage and go-live of the e-commerce business and maintain daily operations of the platform. The candidate should have excellent communication and coordination skills (written and verbal). This role will also involve continuously working towards improving the UI/UX of the platform, and identify and resolve any issues in the platform with the technical teams. Candidates having excellent computer skills, knowledge of agriculture inputs (pesticides, specialty nutrients, fertilizers, seeds, etc.), and marketing will be given a preference. Candidates with immediate availability will also be given a preference.
Job Responsibilities
- Quickly learn about the design, functioning, and maintenance of the e-commerce platform and take the handover of the platform from the vendor.
- Manage the content on the platform such as regular addition of products, price changes, apply promotions and offers, etc.
- Train the end-users (internal and external field teams) and provide technical support to them
- Generate MIS reports on a regular basis
- Identify and resolve technical issues, UI/UX, content, etc. related issues in coordination with platform developer, field teams, and HO members
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Any graduate/post-graduate. Education in agriculture is preferred but not mandatory
- Must have experience of 2-3 years in working on ERP systems like SAP or managing online platforms like e-commerce websites, apps, etc.
- Experience in agri-input (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) is preferred
