We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Sales Advisory
This role involves leading solution discussions with client stakeholders and helping lead teams that will transform sales operations and commercial operations for leading FMCG companies. You will closely liaise with operating teams to find opportunities to partner, develop appropriate solutions with service lines and delivers transformation engagements to realize value for our customers.
Responsibilities- You are responsible to execute projects ranging from business diagnostic, organization design, business process design, TPM / TPO system implementation
- You will lead workshops with client teams and demonstrate knowledge, capabilities and credentials in Trade Promotion Management, Trade Spend Management, Sales Operations, Contract Administration, Digital Innovation, and Sales Analytics
- You will connect and influence Sales Operations teams at large FMCG organizations around emerging innovative solutions
- You will contribute to building deep, differentiated capabilities across the end-to-end value chain in Consumer Goods developing insights, standard methodologies, technology solutions, integrated analytics offerings etc.
- Lead brainstorming discussions with Genpact Sales / Client Partners and Operating Leaders and identify proactive opportunities
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and referencability to mine the accounts
- Lead and mentor teams
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Skills - Deep Industry knowledge in Consumer Goods with relevant experience in driving business transformation programs for clients
- Experience in delivering high quality large-scale projects across multiple industries, and regarded as an advisor to mid & senior management on driving business value from technology-based solutions
- Consultative selling skills
- Strong executive presence and client-facing stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter who understands Genpact s unique value proposition and can position us accordingly
- Familiar in operating in a matrix structure and should work well with multiple internal groups and a diverse set of partners
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Must be willing to travel as needed
Preferred qualifications - Demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the following:
- Customer Business Planning (CBP)
- Trade Promotions Management and Optimization
- Sales Operations and Retail Execution
- Performance Management (Post Event Analytics)
- Digitally savvy
