Are you the one we are looking forInviting applications for the role of Process Associate, Insurance
Responsibilities

  • The interpretation of Loss Sensitive Insurance concepts and products

  • Account billing that includes calculations and bill presentation for all Retrospective, Deductible and Self-insured plan types

  • Achieving and consistently maintaining established productivity and quality standards

  • Produce paid loss and valuation billings within appropriate billing schedules to meet company and client needs

  • Produce claim data out of loss systems for all billings, which support the billing exhibits produced

  • Reconcile and balance accounts to be billed

  • Cash application of payments received. Application of check and wire payments to outstanding invoices on Loss Sensitive accounts. Research discrepancies and complete payment reconciliations.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

  • Banking/Financial/Accounting/Billing/Insurance experience

  • Contract/agreement interpretation experience

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Good customer service orientation

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy

  • Understanding of automated systems to support the administration and servicing of accounts

  • Excellent Technical skills (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, reporting skills)

  • Solid organizational skills

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication to all levels of the organization.

  • Sharing information and maintaining the confidentiality of our customers.

  • Listening and comprehending the needs of business partners.

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrate a commitment to superior service.

  • Act with a sense of urgency to meet productivity goals to assure that customers receive their bills in a timely fashion.

  • Build partnerships with internal partners by sharing information and offering assistance.

  • Developing billing experience.

  • Being trained and developed in loss-sensitive billing principles and Commercial account products.

  • Work under the direct supervision and handle routine accounts that have automated billing exhibits and invoicing, some manual invoicing and manual system charges, per claim charges, and cash collateral.

  • Directly follow processes and procedures.

  • Seek guidance from Assistant Manager when faced with more complex issues.

  • Apply analytical skills.

  • Work effectively with business partners.

  • Take the necessary steps to provide a quality billing product to customers.

  • Build relationships by being a team player who works effectively and develops positive relationships with others to achieve key business objectives and departmental goals.

  • Demonstrate professionalism.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access databases, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, and the Internet.

  • Gaining knowledge of billing and loss reporting systems.

  • Achieve team objectives effectively through workload prioritization.

  • Meet commitments, accept accountability, stay focused under pressure and adhere to established guidelines and rules of the company.

  • Adjust easily to changes required as a result of workload re-assignment or process changes.
