Job Description
We are Delhi Based Consultant. One of our esteem client is looking for the following position.
Company : A reputed US MNC
Location : Gurgaon
Qualification: B.tech / MCA
Please note the following points while looking for the candidates :
1) No candidate should have a notice period of more than a month ( preferable is 15 days or immediately available)
2) we do not have a permanent Work From Home option, wfh is applicable only during the extremes of the pandemic.
3) Please look for candidates from Delhi/ NCR and Gurgaon.
Job Description
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer responsible for building our web applications.
Exp- Min 5 Years
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
* Integration of data storage solutions
* Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
* Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
* Help maintain code quality, organisation and automatisation
* Doing end to end development of the product along with other team members.
Skills
* Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
* Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
* Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Liquid, Slim, etc}}
* Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Sass }
* Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
* Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
* A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
* Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
* Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
* Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
* Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
* Familiarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc}}
* Familiarity with continuous integration
* Must have knowledge of AWS services
* Should be good with writing scripts , backend jobs
* Good knowledge with Redis , Schedulers , Cron jobs , Exception logging & monitoring tools .
* Must have experience with profiling tools.
* Must be good with caching techniques.
* Knowledge with SQS will add the advantage.
* Must know the deployment process like Capistrano , AWS code deploy etc
. Must be good with relational database like mysql & PostgreSQL
. Must be good with ubuntu operating system
