Job Description
Responsibilities:
Roles those are responsible for direct or indirect leadership and/or management of
project resources.
Leading the construction Works, methods and operations, sampling and site activities in
order to verify their compliance with the Contract
As necessary prepare and issue detailed snag/defect/outstanding works reports/lists
Verifying the manufactures certificate and independent tests and maintaining orderly and
Complete records. Examining, measuring, and testing materials and plant before
incorporating in the works.
Coordinate/liaise with consultants for any queries, conflicts, omissions, discrepancies, or
deficiencies in the design documentation, to ensure suitable revisions or other additional
information is provided to the Contractor to complete the Works.
Prepare Daily/Monthly progress reports. Review of Contractor's construction schedule.
Inspecting testing as described in the Specifications, drawings and driving the Contractor
acceptability of the test results including recommendations on any deficiencies in the test
results.
Review and comment on the contractors proposed layout plan for all temporary Site
facilities including checking the access, temporary structures, locations of offices, yards
as well as waste disposal plans for all temporary facilities throughout the Project period.
Leading site meeting for all relevant parties to discuss and agree on process and protocols
necessary for the effective and efficient control and supervision of the construction phase
of the project.
Maintaining a list of outstanding works indicating the dates of completing each and every
activities and providing the same to the Contractor
Obtain a written undertaking from the Contractor to complete any outstanding work
during the Defect liability period.
Review of all warranties, guarantees and all other relevant documents related to
materials and workmanship of the Construction Contract and provide feedback to the
Management.
Prepare and issue Hand over Certificate in coordination with the PMC after ensuring that
all the pre-requisites for project taking over stipulated in the Construction contract is
fulfilled by the Contractor.
Verifying that the Contractor is constantly complying with the Safety measures needed
by the work man and site staff and ensuring all construction activities are performed in
accordance with the method statement and risk assessments.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Civil) from an accredited university or college
with 10 to 15 years of experience in Healthcare Construction works.
