Job Description
Business Analyst, Customer Supply Chain (CSA) / Order Management
This position serves as primary liaison between sales personnel, brokers, distributors, customers and various departments and functions to investigate, resolve and respond to issues and questions. Ensures customer orders are processed, shipped and invoiced. Demands critical thinking abilities to facilitate resolution to both short term and long term service issues. Administers and processes a multitude of distributor, operator, and national account contracts, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and gross margin integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides support tasks, including efficient, accurate order processing & fulfillment of an assigned account base and acts as a liaison between the customer, outside sales, and internal departments.
- Offers solutions to assigned customer accounts by providing services based upon specific customer initiatives.
- Daily maintenance in SAP which would include reviewing Open Order report.
- Order entry and maintenance of SAP tool.
- Organize and consolidate LTL shipments into truckloads or ship withs to increase truck optimization
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Assist transportation planners in resolving issues and communicating to appropriate parties as necessary.
- Support customer with pool date coordination, rush shipment arrangements, and problem resolution.
- Analyze existing order to ship processes for possible improvements
- Responsible for an additional level of complexity in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics
- Reviews established policies & procedures and recommends best practices to provide high-level customer service, promoting excellent internal/external relations
- Review and clear deductions that fall within order managements area of responsibility
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications- Experience in Order Management or OTC Customer supply chain.
- Bachelor s Degree (business, logistics or finance is preferred)
Preferred qualifications- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform the duties related to order processing, invoicing, credit/debit memos, claims and deductions.
- Capacity for developing an understanding of cash application, logistics and sales.
- Must possess analytical skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to handle stress well.
- Proficient in PC skills.
