Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

ROLE:

  • Assist and contribute in designing and execution of in house research studies,
  • Develop system for analysis of the data available from the State offices on different programmes
  • Establish an efficient MIS system for the different projects and train the project staff in the implementation and maintenance of MIS system.
  • Work towards developing a shared database for M&E tracking.
  • Develop M&E frame work for all programmes
  • Coordinate and help implement mid-term and final M&E assessments and analysis in close coordination with different programme implementation teams
  • Assist and participate in creation of lessons learned and project reports
  • Develop a system for collection and maintenance of background information and documents useful for the programmes
  • Work closely with the National & State Head and the District Coordinators for developing M&E tool, frame work, design and data collection and analysis
  • Conduct trainings, workshops and TOT on M&E
  • Monitor implementation of project activities and work closely with the partners to ensure timely roll out of M&E framework at state levels
  • Guide programme partners to increase the effectiveness of programmes
  • Coordinate/develop good working relations with line agencies and other developmental organizations to strengthen specific programme activities
  • Report regularly on the status of programmes and major events

EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-6 years experience with 3 years specific experience in managing M&E portfolio in any reputed Research Organization or of national and international Non Governmental Organizations
  • Working knowledge of M&E methodologies having experience of designing and developing research analysis and protocols, impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation of programs/projects in public and private sector

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to undertake extensive travel
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and should be passionate about your work.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Possess good command over spoken and written English
  • Excellent knowledge of market research and ability to analyze its trends
  • Excellent skills in organizational representation
  • Proficiency in use of computers

Master in Social Sciences / Rural Management / Economics
