Job Role-US Residential Mortgage Live Underwriter
Experience-
- Minimum 3+ Years of experience in US Residential Mortgage Live Underwriter
Qualification- Any Graduate & Post Graduate
Excellent Communication (Verbal & Written)
Flexible In shift Night
Notice period- Immediate
5 Days Working 2 Days Off
Experience:
- Minimum experience of 3 years and above in US Mortgage Live Underwriting
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and analyze documentation provided on each loan including the 1003, credit report, income and asset documentation, gifts, purchase agreement, title report, etc. to make an informed lending decision.
- Calculate borrowers income and debt-to-income ratios based on acceptable agency practices
- Documents lending decisions and completes required screens in the LOS that include the accurate completion of the 1008, create template for UWs as well as adding and/or creating applicable conditions of the loan approval
- Review and make notes any missing documents in the loan package
- Reads and interprets initial Automated Underwriting Decision results (DU/LP)
- Adheres to underwriting guidelines to fulfill agency requirements
- Add conditions and clear those reviewing documents once they are back
- Displays excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Helps to expedite final approval of the file
- Implement and Follow the Quality Control Procedures and ensure all the procedures are followed with zero error rates.
- Proactive in foreseeing and addressing issues
- Update knowledgebase whenever new updates are received and pass the information to the team members and ensure that everyone is aware of the updates.
- Maintains and cultivates an effective working relationship with corporate UWs
- Complete the review in a timely manner as established by company SLAs
- Must be able to adjust work and thought process to accommodate changes in the lending environment
- Consistently meets or exceeds established minimum productivity levels
Act as a role model of the companys values, acting in an ethical and professional manner
Skill Set Required:
- MS Office
- Possess good analytical and reasoning skills
- Average Verbal & Written communication skills
- Good Computer Handling / Typing skills
- US Mortgage Experience in Pre-underwriting/Jr. Underwriting
