JOB DESCRIPTION

Assigns codes for diagnosis, procedures, and treatments according to the appropriate classification system for inpatient encounters
Extracts required information from source documentation and enters into the encoder and abstracting system
Correctly identify, verify, and abstract all medical data and disposition codes from the record to complete a data abstract on hospital encounters
Qualification :
UG:B.Sc - Agriculture, Bio-Chemistry, Botany, Food Technology, Home science, Microbiology, Nursing, Zoology, B.Tech/B.E. - Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, Biomedical, B.Pharma - Pharmacy
PG:M.Pharma - Pharmacy, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nursing, Zoology
Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required, M.Phil. - Biotechnology, Microbiology

 Eligibility:

Any Life Science, Paramedical, Medical Graduates and Post Graduates (Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, , Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Biology, Bio-Medical graduates, Zoology, Botany, Bioinformatics, Genetics, B.O.T, Microbiology, Biochemistry ,Endocrinology, Nutrition && Dietetics, Anatomy, Physiology , Chemistry, Medical Lab Technology, Health Education, M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.H.M.S, B.A.M.S, etc.)
