Role: Lead Financial Sponsors Coverage Group
Role expectations:
The Lead, Financial Sponsors Coverage Group shall lead the PE channel strategy for the firm. The core capabilities shall include the ability to track the portfolio of PE companies (10-15 key PE firms), be abreast with the investment criteria and interests of PE firms, manage the firms relationship with the PE firms and to drive the core solutions including a) CFO solutions for portfolio companies b) Potential M&A and fund raise opportunities for their portfolio companies and c) Potential corporate finance opportunities. The candidate may also be required to cross-sell other solutions/offerings of the firm such as Internal Audit, IT solutions etc.
Key skills/Role competency:
-Very strong PE network (with individual partners/directors)
-Sectorial expertise of Healthcare, Consumer and FS sectors
-Proven track record of lead generation and closure (including signing of mandates)
-Previous IB experience would be an added advantage with hands on experience of execution (model development/IM preparation) and closure (final closure).
Educational Background/Experience:
7-10 years of relevant experience
CA or MBA in Finance
