Job Description
Urgent Opening in Kolkata with a leading retail company for the position of Finance Controller.
Job Location - Kolkata
Department : Finance
Reporting To : Finance Head & MD
Main purpose of Job: Providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business, while ensuring compliant with all tax regulations.
Key Accountabilities: (including but not limited to)
- Handling of P & L, GST Return, General Ledger, AP & AR aging report and Balance Sheet.
- Credit Control
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Publish financial statements in time
- compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Education/Qualifications
Chattered Accountant, PG - ICWA (CMA) - Any Specialization
Experience
10 12 years experience in Retail industries.
Knowledge/Skills
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Thorough Knowledge on Goods And Service Tax
- Experience With Accounting Software, ERP system & Ginesys
- MIS & Data Analysis Skills
Behaviours
- Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with others.
- Capable of resolving differences without conflict.
- Resilience to work under pressure.
