Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support ICC for file reviews, certification decision, suspension and certificate issuance activity, CR reviews, competency review as per ICC SLA.
- Respond to technical issues and queries raised by any member countries.
- Support ICC team for performing analysis related to defects, TAT, certification issuance time etc.
- Support in updating quarterly SAAS list for ICC India.
- Review Audit reporting as per SAAS P 200, BMS and ISO 17021 requirements.
- Participate and Cooperate with ICC team for Accreditation audits.
- To keep self-updated with latest regulatory requirements & technologies pertaining to sectors/ schemes under audit.
- To conduct audits in accordance Bureau Veritas Management System and BVC India Operations Manual.
- To report / inform reporting line / back-office / team leader for any unexpected situation faced during the audit. (Examples less time available for audit against planned due to situations beyond control, audit cancellation, any dispute during the audit on finding etc.)
- To maintain & protect assets of company laptop and other accessories and any other.
- To submit Travel & Expenses (T&E) statements in timely manner.
- To adhere to terms and conditions agreed at the time of acceptance of appointment letter.
- Maintain and share knowledge and skills
Desired Candidate Profile
- The Job Incumbent is responsible for performing technical review & decision making activities related to SA8000 scheme under International Competency Centre SA8000 India. The job requires technical review of files, applications, contract reviews, suspensions & withdrawals & competency from all ICC-SA8000 linked countries on Global basis.
The job incumbent is responsible for conducting value added audits, as & when required by the organization, against the relevant standard
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- To ensure optimization of turnaround time for all files coming to ICC India from all linked countries including India itself.
- Reduce/ensure Turnaround Time for the first response for file reviews is within SLA.
- Optimize the number of file reviewed per day
- Ensuring that Certificate continuity is maintained at Re-certification stage i.e. no loss of continuity for no fault of the clients if the file is received in ICC prior to validity getting over.
- Reduce no. of certificates re-printed due to errors in entering certificate details while file approval in Siebel
- To maintain LTO with accreditation body SAAS.
- Quality of work i.e ensuring the appropriate level of quality of service (timing, content, quality of reports) and following accepted procedures and regulations
- Contribution to Knowledge Management
- Contribution to initiatives on continuous improvement
Qualification and Experience
- Science / Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate with minimum 6-8 yrs of industry experience with min. 2 yrs experience in conducting 2nd or 3rd party audits.
- Successfully completed a registered lead auditor course based on reference standard
- Knowledge of ISO 17021 & ISO 17065 requirements.
- Conversant with the terminology and the principles of the relevant standards
