Manager Controller - is responsible for managing all aspects of Finance/Accounting and Controlling. He/She will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company along with assisting the Management in strategic planning responsibilities associated with the business long-range and annual operating plans. This role will also have direct responsibility of the following activities: accounting and reporting, cash management, financial forecasting and analysis as well as assistance in managing all legal, governance, regulatory, Board of Directors and insurance issues. Responsibilities:
Provide effective financial and operational management in line with the SCRI strategic plan
Assistance and processing of invoices, sales billing, dunning notices, donation receipt management and bank transactions
Monitor and analyze budgets and effectively communicate critical financial matters to CFO
Support the Financial Consultant in preparation of tax returns in conjunction with independent auditors
Consistently review financial policies and procedures with an eye on FCRA compliance
Work collaboratively and in coordination with department heads to provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management
Assistance in ongoing risk management including overseeing all insurance coverage, and providing necessary recommendations on upgrades, coordinating timely renewals and ensuring policy requirements are met throughout the organization
In charge of contract management of all contracts/agreements of the company
Support CFO and legal consultant to ensure that all governmental/state registrations are filed as required and all regulatory requirements are fulfilled
Assist and supervise the operations of the Financial Consultant and HR Consultant, including, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, treasury responsibility and all financial reconciliation
Oversee all accounting practices, including assistance in managing annual audit of financial statement according to IFRS and Indian GAAP, and ensure proper internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines
Assist in Board of Directors matters, and assist CFO and CEO in governance issues
