Greetings from ACT Fibernet, we are hiring Freshers for Field Network Engineer in Chennai.
We are conducting a walk-in the drive on 25th and 26th Sep 2020 at our Head Office in Chennai, request you to go through the complete Job Description and Field Training details before walking in for an interview.

JOB TITLE: Field Network Engineer
Reporting to: Team Leader Service Delivery
Function Name: Service Delivery
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for 100% customer service and maintenance of network element on the field in the designated area
Language preferred English and Tamil
Role Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assume overall responsibility for ensuring 99.99% Customer Uptime
2. Ensure that the switches in the network are maintained as per norms
3. Ensure support for timely connectivity for all the cross-functional teams
4. Maintain the network database and submit the required report to the reporting manager on regular intervals
5. Attend customer complaints on the field and give quality resolution within the TAT
6. Provide timely resolution of technical complaints through analysis/ troubleshooting
7. Monitor NMS through relevant application and take appropriate action based on the events
8. Analyze repeat complaints and ensure implementation of corrective measures through escalations if required
9. 100% compliance on safety and cardinal rules
10. Responsible for process adherence
11. Provide structured feedback to management to provide permanent solutions to improve service level
Key Result Areas:
This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency through management of material and time consumption, quality adherence and bringing in areas of improvement for process betterment in the organization
Recruitment Specifications:
Education
1. Graduate/Diploma/ITI holder in any discipline
2. Hardware & Networking, MCSE and CCNA preferred
Year of Passing: 2018, 2019, and 2020 only.
Work Experience
1. Freshers
Immediate joiners are preferred.
Mandate:
1. Must be flexible with timings and rotational week off
2. Candidate Must have the following documents, without which will not be considered
a. 10th mark sheet
b. 12th mark sheet or
c. Diploma / ITI / Graduation mark sheet
d. Pan Card
e. Aadhar card (Front & Back)
f. Driving Licence

All the shortlisted candidates from the above 3 levels of interviews shall be put under 15 days of training wherein they will be undergoing both classroom and field training. Post completion of 15 days, All the trained candidates will be assessed with Written-test, Viva & Practical. Those who clear the test shall be on-boarded as Network Engineer in ACT Fibernet, Chennai location(based on open positions only) with a CTC of 2.15 Lakhs p.a. for Network Engineers. People who fail to clear the assessment shall not be considered further for employment with ACT. Most importantly, Training letters shall be provided to all the shortlisted candidates for the SDC training. Offer letter for the ENROLL job of Network Engineer will be provided after the successful completion of training.
