General skills:

• Motivated self-starter -Critical
• EOL upgrade understanding build servers - Need
• VMWare Concepts (Cloning, disk expansion, basic troubleshooting, virtual appliances)- Need
• ITIL concepts Nice to have
• Automation experience Nice to have
• Backup and restore concepts (Rubrik experience a big plus) Nice to have

Linux skills and level of importance

• Red Hat Linux (Pacemaker cluster a big plus)- Need
• Errata patching structure with Satellite- Need
• LVM disk management (filesystems, lvols, volume groups)- Need
• SNMP monitoring (Nagios XI a big plus)- Need
• Shell scripting - Nice to have
• Python Nice to have
• Database experience Oracle/PostgreSQL on linux Nice to have
• NFS filesystem concepts (NetApp mixed mode filesystems a big plus) Nice to have
