Senior .Net Developer (BELOW 1 Month Notice Period Candidates only Preferred)
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer All-rounder Front & Back end developer to join our Technology team. The key purpose of the role is to design and develop new software to support the business initiative.
The successful candidate will work in a small team of software developers on a number of .NET projects revolving around automating business processes and new applications. The main platform is built in Microsoft technology and encompasses a full range of tools such as MVC, HTML, Angular.JS, HTML, C# ASP.NET, CSS and RESTful web services.
As an experienced developer, you will be self-motivated, passionate and willing to take on the challenges of this role. You will have proven commercial experience in the following technologies:
Key Skill Requirements:
.Net technologies, including C#, MVC, ASP.Net, Entity Framework
Experienced in the development of ASP.NET Web API 2 services
Ability to design, develop and implement of RESTful Web Service endpoints along with accompanying business logic using SOAP, XML and JSON
Excellent understanding of Team Foundation Server including best practices in
o TFS Security
o Branching / merging
o Automated build / unit testing
o Release Management
Design and implementation of sophisticated web-based applications and user interfaces
Experience with databases, including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning with either Microsoft SQL Server and/or Sybase
Experience with unit testing and integration testing
Excellent understanding of application security including
o Token based authorisation
o OWIN middleware
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate both in writing and verbally
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Analyse, design and develop solutions to complex business problems using the Microsoft technology stack
Produce well-articulated solution designs and technical specifications to meet the requirements defined by the business
Front end web development skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, SASS
Understanding of front end tools and frameworks such as NodeJS, Grunt, Gulp, Bower and Karma
Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures.
