JSW Energy KSK Mahanadi Power Plant, located in Chhattisgarh, is one of Indias largest thermal power assets with a total capacity of 3,600 MW (6x600 MW). Acquired by JSW Energy under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, the plant currently operates 1,800 MW, with 95% of its output secured under long- and medium-term power purchase agreements. Strategically positioned near coal mines and equipped with long-term fuel supply agreements, the plant ensures reliable and efficient power generation. As part of the $24 billion JSW Group, JSW Energy is rapidly expanding its diversified energy portfolio and aims to reach 20 GW capacity by 2030, contributing to India’s sustainable energy future.
