Territory Manager
Location: Andhra Pradesh (Vijayawada, Bhimavaram, Kakinada)
Eruvaka is looking for an enthusiastic, target-oriented, and experienced Territory Manager to join our growing Business Development team. In this role, you will be required to manage Sales and Service Representatives of an assigned territory and ensure sales targets are achieved while upholding high service quality and customer satisfaction levels. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts (aquaculture farmers and producers), demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.
To be successful as a Territory Manager, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise strong leadership skills. You should have strong technical knowledge, a passion for sales, and the willingness to travel. Ultimately, an exceptional Territory Manager should demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills at all times.
Job Description
You will be the key point of contact for customers, answering queries, providing technical advice and introducing new products.
Your tasks will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Traveling throughout an assigned territory to train and guide company Sales and Service Representatives.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving issues/complaints in a timely manner.
- Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by developing innovative sales strategies within an assigned territory.
- Identifying and resolving customer concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
- Expanding market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
- Working closely with the data engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met.
- Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote company products and services.
- Preparing responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information).
- Maintaining knowledge of competitor products and identifying and reporting intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies.
- Liaising with existing customers on a regular basis to proactively take feedback and ensuring customers realize full value of their investment.
- Educating customers on product best practices and driving technology adoption.
- Motivating Sales and Service Representatives to achieve monthly/quarterly targets and evaluating their performance from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Technical/Engineering background with a passion for technology and Agriculture/Aquaculture preferred.
- Bachelors/Masters degree with 3-5 years of proven sales and marketing experience.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
